Malegaon (Kh.), Taluka Maval,District Pune.


Students from Tribal area of Maval ,Khed, Junner, Ambegaon, (District Pune) & Karjat Taluka (District Raigad.)

Total 413 students from 20  villages                                     
Boys : 251 nos. Girls : 162 nos.

From 1st to 10th Standard.


  • To provide good education to tribal students.
  • To reduce the gap between urban and tribal students
  • Ashram Shala should be a nucleus for developing tribal’s in surrounding villages.

To develop liking for Education in tribals


1.         Best Adivasi  Ashramshala in Thane region in the year 2005 – 2006. Award by Govt. of Maharashtra
2.         Leading representative of Maharashtra State in Scout & Guide competitions at New Delhi and also won 2nd prize at India level.
3.         Won 1st prize in Inter Residential Adivasi Ashramshalas Sports competition in 2006 – 2007.( Regional level)


Special Programmes:

  • Every year a workshop of about 3 weeks is conducted by the French Volunteers of ASMAE France.
  • Child Rights and children  participation Project
  • Adolescent  Girls Project
  • Started Scouts and guides activities first time in tribal school and helped in disseminating to other tribal schools.
  • First tribal school to conduct the international intelligence testing ( Mensa Test ) and detecting 4 girls students as Mensans
  • Computer Education   and undertaken a project Adobe Youth Voices from iEARN.
  • Undertaken a programme of students involvement in School and Hostel administration

1.To prepare quality Auxiliary Nurse & Midwife who can take up the responsibility in the hospital, community & provide comprehensive nursing care to individual family & society.
2. At the end of training programme, the students will be able to demonstrate the ability to plan to carry out job responsibilities assigned to her / him.
3. To make total girls self sufficient.


1.100% result  with good number in Distinction and first Class.
2.100% employed.

Future Plans:

1.To increase the number of seats for academic admission.
2.Construction of Nursing Hostel.
3.To start 3 & ½ years G.N.M. Training.

Greater Achievement:

1. Library started with 50 nos. of books. Now library has more than 18,000 books
2. Library progressed from ‘D’ Grade to Taluka ‘A’ Grade.
3. More than 700 members.
4. Celebrities from social, political, art & media field visited our library
